From being known as Tanushree Dutta’s younger sister to bagging a lead role in a daily show, Ishita Dutta has certainly come a long way. Ishita, who entered the film industry by making a debut in Drishyam, currently stars in the show, Rishton Ka Saudagar — Baazigar.
Sister Tanushree, who has been watching the series regularly, is all praise for her little sister. Incidentally, it was Tanushree, who encouraged her sister to give acting a try even though Ishita was hesitant to take it up. In fact, Tanushree made sure Ishita even enrolled at an acting school.
Talking about Tanushree’s reaction, Ishita says, “I spoke to my sister and she says she has been watching every episode of the show. She feels that Baazigar has an intriguing plot. Tanushree is very honest — if she dislikes something she will say it to your face whether you like it or not. Since she has good things to say about the show, I am sure she means it. She also loves the chemistry between Vatsal (Sheth) and me. In fact, Tanushree told me she is looking forward to seeing what happens next between us. Her words of encouragement make me feel that I have a lot of scope as an actress.”
Ishita further adds, “I discuss everything with Tanushree no matter which part of the world she is in. She is the reason I make good decisions. She advises me to concentrate and work hard. She keeps telling me that she is proud of me — that makes me content with my work.”
