Actor Ankur Verma, who was last seen in Suhaani Si Ek Ladki, is back on the tube. The actor will be playing the leading man in the upcoming show Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein. To fit into his character, Ankur was asked to lose weight by the makers of the show. Keeping up with their demands the actor has successfully managed to reduce weight through dieting and rigorous exercises. The actor will be seen essaying the role of a quintessential Punjabi boy named Kunal on the show.
Talking about his role, he says, “I am glad that I bagged the character of Kunal. I can completely relate to it because I am from Haryana. The transition from Ankur to Kunal was easy as I was able to reconnect with my roots. I have lost oodles of weight to suit the character. I am looking and feeling like a new person now.”
