Parmeet Sethi is back on TV, after a long hiatus. The actor, who has now turned director, will be helming the upcoming show, Har Mard Ka Dard. The show explores the problems of the society’s men, in the context of what women think. A good bond between the director and his actors goes a long way in ensuring a better quality of performance, and here, Parmeet has hit the jackpot. Parmeet and show’s leading man, Faisal Rashid, had hit it off really well right from the audition.
Their bond became even stronger when they went for the outdoor shoot in Patiala. “With both of us being foodies, we really enjoyed the food in Patiala and one day in passing I asked Faisal to treat me with Kashmiri food, as I knew his wife is a Kashmiri. A few days later, he came to my house and delivered a huge packet of home-cooked Kashmiri food. While shooting in Patiala, I saw Faisal going for a run after pack up. Next day onwards even I joined him. Others also followed suit and soon the entire unit shot together, ate together and ran together,” recalls the director.
