Scorpion Season 4 reveals a lot more about Cabe Gallo, played by Robert Patrick. Cabe has been arrested; the team has bailed him out. They’ve mortgaged the business. They’ve got to now take whatever jobs they can, and they do so without the protection of Cabe Gallo or the federal government. Cabe has been relegated to basically being a non-paid intern for Scorpion, all badge-less and gun-less. The audience is all set to find some deep dark secrets that Cabe has, some traumatic events that have happened to him and more.
Q What should the Indian audience expect from the show?
It’s an exciting show with great action and it’s funny as well. Not only this, it has great drama with wonderful relationships and team work. In the show weak people (Social misfits) are bought together and made much stronger because we are a sort of a team. They can overcome any problem and have a solution to all the problems. They never give up.
Q Can you tell us about your hardest role you have acted in your career?
Some of the evil roles that I have done are very hard. In particular the role which I played in the film called ‘Last Rampage’ is one of the darkest characters that I have played. Basically, the roles which are extremely evil are the ones which are very difficult / hard to portray on screen.
Q What’s your advice to the ones who are working hard to create a good opponent (villain) role in the movies and shows?
Television is a little fast paced as compared to movies. It’s faster, quicker and you have got to come up with solutions for whatever problems you have. As an actor, patience is really important but then again based on the budget of the film you can change situations. All I can say is that it’s a wonderful time to be an actor now, if you are not working now, sums up... there’s so much opportunity out there.
Q What’s the biggest challenge one has to face while playing the role of a villain?
One of the challenges is to pick up roles that are evil or morally corrupt but one has to keep in mind that it’s not always fun to play such a role. However, it’s much more fun for me though. As far as Scorpion is concerned it’s fun to be Cabe Gallo. I love playing a guy who puts his heart and soul in his work and is protective. I think he has got a good value system and I really love what Cabe personifies.
Q How different it was to act in a movie and to act in a drama series?
It’s all the same really. Same people operate the cameras in shows and movies. However, TV is faster paced and a film can be a little bit slower and gives you more opportunity to give takes. Though, the length of the shoot differs but it’s all really the same.
Q Do you having any plans to act in Bollywood or with Indian film industry?
If someone makes me an offer then, why not!
