Telly couple Krip and Simran Suri were in the news recently over rumours of a growing rift in their marriage. Reports claimed that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks, allegedly due to Simran’s same-sex fling.
The actor has now decided to put the rumours to rest. Opening up about the issue for the first time, Krip says, “These rumours are rubbish. Publicity-hungry people have been spreading them. These rumours make me feel like someone out there is jealous about my success. My wife and I are very much in love. We are in a happy space, personally and professionally. My show Kalash, too is doing well. Simran has been spending her time auditioning for roles, so she will probably be seen on television soon.”
Krip recently took time out from his busy schedule to celebrate Simran’s birthday. The actor cancelled his engagements to be by his wife’s side the whole day. Krip says, “We believe in celebrating our special days with the family so my mother and brother came to Mumbai, to be with us.”
The actor reveals that he didn’t particularly gift his wife anything. He shares, “I don’t believe in formalities so I didn’t gift her anything. I think we have gifted our lives to each other by being each other’s life partners. I celebrate every day for having her in my life. What’s mine is hers and vice versa.”
