Telugu Queen back on track
While the cast and crew of all the four versions of the South Indian remakes of Queen went on a schedule to France, it looks like the Telugu film wasn’t able to progress a great deal due to the change in the director and other minor issues.
While over 50 per cent of the work is complete in all the other three languages, the progress on the Telugu version of the movie is a bit slow, due to the last-minute changes.
“Not much headway was made in the European schedule. And now, a great deal of work is going on because of the change in the director. With Ramesh Aravind set to take on the reigns of the Telugu version alongside Tamil and Kannada, it is going to be hectic for him,” reveals a source.
Apparently, another issue at the moment is that Tamannaah is busy shooting for other films.
“With the change in plans, her dates had to be adjusted too. However, there’s no delay as such and the team is using this time to streamline things in a better way as a new team has been put together,” adds the source, revealing that full-fledged work will begin only after Ramesh finishes the other two versions as was planned earlier.
The initial plan was to release all the four remakes together, but with the Telugu film trailing behind, it is to be seen how they’ll manage to do so. A source shares, “That plan will not change for sure. The sudden crew change did cause a bit of an inconvenience but things are in place at the moment.”
