Mohan Babu gives Vishnu Manchu\'s Health update
Actor Vishnu Manchu recently suffered a significant injury while filming a movie in New Zealand. During the shooting of his upcoming Telugu film, "Kannappa," the 41-year-old actor faced an unfortunate incident involving a drone, leading to an injury to his arm. In light of this, Vishnu Manchu's father and fellow actor, Mohan Babu, has taken to social media to share an important update about his son's recovery.
Mohan Babu expressed his gratitude for all the love, well-wishes, and concerns following Vishnu Manchu's accident on the set of "Kannappa" in New Zealand. He revealed that, by the grace of God, Vishnu Manchu is on the path to recovery and will soon return to the set to resume shooting. Mohan Babu concluded his message with a heartfelt thank you and the words, "Har Har Mahadev!"
Additional details on the injury suggest that the accident occurred when the drone operator lost control due to a signal discrepancy. Consequently, the blades of the drone collided with Vishnu Manchu's arm, causing a severe injury due to the proximity of the machine, which was being used to capture close-range shots for cinematic effect.
Currently, Vishnu Manchu is receiving medical treatment in a New Zealand hospital, and the film's production has been temporarily halted. After his treatment, he is expected to take some time for recovery before resuming work.
As for the film "Kannappa," Vishnu Manchu is deeply involved in the project, taking on various roles beyond being the lead actor. His father, Mohan Babu, is producing the film under the banner of 24 Frames Factory. Vishnu himself has co-written the story (along with Tanikella Bharani) and the screenplay, alongside director Mukesh Kumar Singh. "Kannappa" is a period film featuring an ensemble cast that includes Madhoo, Mohan Babu, with Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Shiva Rajkumar set to make cameo appearances.
