Ravi Teja skips partnership in Tiger Nageshwara Rao'?
Action hero Ravi Teja who is producing films these days intended to join as a partner in his latest release "Tiger Nageshwara Rao" since the film's budget has crossed Rs 55 crores since director Vamsee wanted to shoot spectacular action sequences besides n erecting sets besides hundreds of VFX shots to get the right look for his period drama. "After joining hands with producer Abhishek Nama for "Ravanasura, Ravi Teja wanted to be a partner in his next big-budget flick Tiger Nageshwara Rao since he didn't want to compromise and also he liked the story very much," says a source.
But as the film progressed, Ravi Teja dropped his plan since he gained enough confidence in producer Abhishek Agrawal whose kin was closely handling the production expenses and even was counting on nails before erecting sets. "Abhishek's kin was quite strict on the sets and used to question technicians over unnecessary expenditures and ensured cost cutting, if otherwise, it would have gone haywire. Of course, a few workers were bit a annoyed over strict monitoring but still the producer kept a tight leash on wastage and budget," he adds.
However, it was a different story after the film was released and the audience couldn't connect to the story of the robber turned messiah. Its collections began to drop and eventually, it turned out to be a flop despite being released during the Dasara holidays.
