Following the footsteps of Anushka Shetty, Samantha, and Nayantara, another 30-plus actress Kajal Aggarwal seems to have resolved to turn a crowd-puller with her upcoming film ‘Satyabhama’. “She went in for a complete makeover and toiling hard for her cop role to prove that she is capable of pulling crowds on the strength of her name,” says a source and adds, “Being her maiden female-centric movie, she is leaving no stone unturned since she has got a rare opportunity,” he adds.
Kajal Aggarwal became a reigning actress in Tollywood after sharing screen space with big stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan along with Jr NTR where pulling in openings was the responsibility of her co-stars. “She wouldn’t felt so much stressed since her heroes were capable of drawing in crowds. Now, Kajal has to take that responsibility and prove her mettle,” he added.
She is also planning to dub for herself for her author-backed role to breathe life into the cop role. "She wants to make the role more realistic and relatable and resolved to dub her lines," says a source and adds, "The makers are planning to dub the film in varied languages including Hindi since she is quite popular among Hindi film viewers.
Now that she is essaying an anger-driven role, away from her lover girl and performance-centric roles, she wants to reach out to as many viewers as possible across India.
Recently, Kajal was seen in 'Bhagavanth Kesari' and for the first time, she shared screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Now-a-days, she is adding more firsts to her credit.
