Mehreen has nailed some of the most challenging roles with laudable ease, and that’s precisely what makes her one of the most desired artistes of Tollywood. Almost perpetually locked in the hustle and with various films awaiting her availability, the actress has been finalised to play Gopichand’s love interest in director Thiru’s upcoming action entertainer.
This is, in fact, the second time that Mehreen is being paired opposite Gopichand — they were first seen together in the film Pantham. Thiru happened to approach Mehreen only recently to narrate his script to her, and apparently, the actress agreed almost immediately to take up the role.
“Director was hoping to rope in an actress capable enough to pull off the part with ease, and his choice is indeed quite spot on. Besides, Mehreen loves the way Thiru works, so it isn’t very surprising that she was game to take up this opportunity to work with him the moment he approached her,” said a source in the know.
Other than Mehreen, Zareen Khan will also be seen in an important role in the film. Anil Sunkara has taken up the production duties for the movie.
