Trust Rakul Preet Singh to get into the skin of her character she portrays. The actress who has been doing wonderfully with each role in her career, will soon be seen in another interesting role—that of a lawyer.
To be directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti, the yet-untitled film will have Rakul Preet in the role of an advocate, a role she dons for the first time. We are also told that in the movie, she will have a meaty role, which is in contrast to the character of Avantika she portrayed in Nagarjuna-starrer Manmadhudu 2.
“Filmmaker Chandrasekhar Yeleti zeroed in on Rakul because he knew she always gives great importance to roles and leaves nothing to chance when it comes to portraying them. He is convinced that she can do justice to the part,” a source tells us. And by Jove, the Dhruva actress has already started prepping for her role. “The actress is trying to learn the nuances of the profession and towards this end, she’s interacting with a few lawyers and is currently watching a lot of documentaries on lawyers who have crusaded against issues,” adds the source.
