Sandeep Vanga to Cast This Tollywood Actor in Animal Telugu Version

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for the nationwide success of "Arjun Reddy" and its Hindi adaptation "Kabir Singh," is gearing up for another cinematic spectacle. His upcoming project, "Animal," featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, is poised for release on December 1, promising a bone-chilling narrative that has already captured significant attention.

Director's Telugu Remake Choice:

During a press meet in Hyderabad, Vanga was asked about his choice of actor for the Telugu remake of "Animal." While Ranbir Kapoor expressed his eagerness to play the lead in the Telugu version, Anil Kapoor suggested himself for the role. However, Vanga had a distinct name in mind and promptly revealed, "Mahesh Babu."

Film Overview:

"Animal" features the duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor portraying a tumultuous father-son relationship. The recently released trailer showcased a toxic dynamic, portraying Ranbir as a formidable force who transforms into an 'animal' in the name of his love for his father.

Mahesh Babu's Connection:

According to a report by Times Now, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu was initially the preferred choice for "Animal" in 2019. The report cited a source stating that Vanga and Mahesh Babu were keen to collaborate, but the actor found the subject matter of the film, titled "Devil" at that time, too dark for his taste and audience preference.
