It is going to be a tough fight between reigning Tamil directors Atlee Kumar and Nelson Dilipukumar to work with ace actor Allu Arjun in his next. Actually, Bunny has met both the directors after their blockbuster releases like ‘Jawan’ and ‘Jailer’ and showed interest to work with them. “Allu Arjun has to decide between these two Tamil directors for his next big ticket entertainer. He is also looking for a director who will expand his reach among pan-India viewers,” says a source and adds, “In fact, Nelson has narrated a script to Allu Arjun who also liked it and director is fine tuning it, while Atlee is yet to pitch in a storyline for the national award winning actor."
Actually, Allu Arjun and Trivikram launched their new film as ‘AA 22’ a few months ago and it was billed to be socio fantasy, while recent reports clarified that it would be inspired by epic Mahabharata. "Later, Allu Arjun met Tamil directors Atlee and Nelson and discussed doing a project. However, Allu Arjun is weighing his options since he is looking for an world-wide movie after ‘Pushpa 2’, adds the source.
Of course, Trivikram has an edge over others since he has delivered hits like ‘Julayi’ and ‘Ala Vaikuntapurramlo’ with Allu Arjun. “Bunny gives a free hand to directors and trusts them completely. He is also looking for scripts that would be a perfect blend of action and romance besides larger-than-life stuff," he concludes.
