Several times in the past, there was buzz that ace director Mani Ratnam had finalised a film with a Telugu hero. In several cases, things did not turn into reality as the talks stopped midway. Now, sources say it is possible that soon after their current projects, Mani Ratnam and Ram Charan could team up.
Apparently, the actor approached the director to discuss the possibility of working together. “Talks have been initiated but it is to be seen whether things work out because there are a lot of factors to consider, especially the duo’s upcoming projects. They need to see if they can match their schedules. Ratnam has been keen to work with Charan for a while now,” shares a source. Earlier, the director’s talks with Nani, Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu didn’t materialise. It is to be seen if this project works out.
