After making action-driven movies like ‘Sarrainodu with Allu Arjun and ‘Akhanda’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna, seasoned director Boyapati Sreenu is reportedly meeting Tamil stars for his next big-ticket movie. Since he almost completed his ongoing action film ‘Skanda’ with Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, he is planning a pan-India film this time. Few Tamil stars liked his slam-bang action flicks like ‘Sarrainodu’ and ‘Akhanda. He recently met Tamil stars Vishal and Suriya to make a pan-Indian action adventure.
“He has readied a big-ticket action saga that has universal appeal and looking to join hands with a Tamil star to take it forward since it has a massive span. In this process, he met Vishal in Chennai and then flew down to Mumbai to meet up with Suriya and both the stars evinced interest to work with him and other formalities are being worked out,” says a source.
He also has the backing of a corporate house that is willing to spend Rs 150 crore for the Boyapati-Tamil star movie, so things could fall in place much faster than others. “With most Telugu stars busy for another year, Boyapati is stepping into Kollywood to showcase his work," he adds.
Boyapati Sreeu is adept at dishing out mass masala entertainers with a good dose of emotion and action to connect more with the masses. After Vamsi Paidipally(Varisu) and Venky Atluri(Vaathi), it is the turn of Boyapati to expand his footprint to neighboring states.
