Versatile actor Mohan Babu will be honoured with a doctorate by MGR University in Chennai on October 4. Mohan Babu has acted in over 500 films and also runs an educational institution, which is why the University chose to award him this year.
Earlier in 2007, the actor was awarded with a doctorate by the University of California for his contribution to cinema and education. The 67-year-old actor is presently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Gayatri in Tirupathi. The governor of Maharashtra, Ch Vidyasagara Rao will be the chief guest at the event on Wednesday.
