Tollywood actor Samantha made an appearance for the first time after announcing her sabbatical at a movie event in Hyderabad. The actress received an overwhelming reception as she arrived at the event.
Speaking at the event, she said she had always been fascinated by superhero movies as they possess super powers. "Don't we all want to be one?," she asked.
When asked who's the superhero in her life, Sam gave credit to her mother. Turning emotional, Sam said that at a time when she had to be taking care of her mom, the roles had reversed and that her mother had been looking after her for the past one year. Samantha also thanked her close friends who had stood by her in her hardest times.
Talking about what superpower she would want to possess, she said, "At the moment, I need strength."
Samantha last appeared in the Shiva Nirvana movie, Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda after which she announced that she was taking a break. She went off to the US after wrapping up her shoot.
