If talented actress Keerthy Suresh has to bag more offers in Tollywood she needs to take a pay cut. Although young heroes are willing to work with her but she hasn’t announced anything yet. “She is demanding over Rs 2.5 crore per film but it would be difficult for producers to cough up such amount,’ says a source and adds, “She pocketed Rs 2.25 crore for her sister act in ‘Bholaa Shankar’ but it is a Chiranjeevi film and it is made in a different budget. She has to slice her remuneration since budgets of younger heroes are much lesser in comparison,” he adds.
Of course, Keerthy Suresh has tasted success in Tollywood. She shared screen space with superstar Mahesh Babu in ‘Sarkarivari Paata" and hotshot star Nani in ‘Dasara’ and it worked well. But her last film ’Bholaa’ failed to impress the viewers. "She has to sign more big-ticket movies to keep up her ratings. No doubt, she is a sought-after-actress since she hasn’t worked with many Telugu stars yet but her remuneration has to be affordable," he points out.
She has proved her mettle with blockbusters like ‘Mahanati’ and also did other Telugu films like ‘Good Luck Sakhi; “She is mixing up with solo heroine roles with commercial movies but she has do more films since competition from the likes of Sreeleela, Rashmika is growing by the day,” he concludes.
