Few days ago, the team of Brahmastra — SS Rajamouli, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji — were in Visakhapatnam for the promotion of their film. Rajamouli is presenting the Telugu version of the Sci-Fi.
During their interaction, Ranbir revealed how Vijayendra Prasad’s (Rajamouli’s father) inputs helped to make the narrative crisper. Apparently, after Prasad watched the film, he suggested a few changes that prompted makers to reshoot the film.
Admitting that he had suggested a few changes in scenes (script), Prasad describes the film as a true blue action-adventure fantasy drama.
“All my interactions were with director Ayan Mukerji; we indulged in conversations about writing, scenes and screenplay. When I got the opportunity to see the film some time back, I had asked for a few suggestions. I am glad that they liked my suggestions and implemented it,” says Prasad.
Prasad has worked for films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manikarnika, Thalaivi, etc., as a screenwriter, and commands great respect.
But when we asked the Bahaubali writer about what kind of inputs he gave, he says, “I can’t reveal about them.”
