Allu Arjun's starry tantrums at USA event leave fans disappointed
When actor Allu Arjun landed in the US to promote his film Duvvada Jagannadham, the NRI Telugu community was mighty elated, and several plans were made just to invite the star. As he toured a couple of cities, the Telugu community in Chicago extended a special invitation to the actor and the film’s team. But, Allu Arjun not only left the people disappointed, but also went overboard with his tantrums, according to a source.
“A special chartered flight was arranged for him from New Jersey to Chicago and he was to land in the city, exclusively for the event organised by the local Telugu body. However, all the guests present, most of whom had paid up to $60 to catch a glimpse of the actor, were utterly disappointed,” reveals one of the attendees.
Although the actor landed in the afternoon, he apparently refused to budge from the “lake-facing room” he had asked for at a star hotel, despite the organisers knocking on his door for a very long time. “It was only after 10 pm that he walked out of his door to be a part of the event. Even then, he spoke only for about 20 minutes about his movie, how people shouldn’t believe in reviews or encourage piracy, before walking away. People were obviously disappointed,” shares the source, adding, “Ram Charan and even a huge star like Pawan Kalyan were really friendly when they were here. In fact, Pawan actually met some fans personally when he came to know that they had come to meet him all the way from Canada. Allu Arjun didn’t even wave to people properly.” What everyone in the US wants to know is — Why did he have to come if he wasn’t interested in the first place?
