Balakrishna is an encyclopedia: Sumanth
Actor Sumanth’s new film Subramanyapuram releases this Friday and he is looking forward to the audience reaction to the supernatural thriller in which he plays Karthik, a man who doesn’t believe God.
“In the film, I do research on temples and I don’t believe in God. But in real life I have faith in God and visit temples, masjids and churches,” says Sumanth. The film is directed by Santosh Jagarlamudi. “I don’t like thrillers and did not want to do the film but the way Santosh narrated the script gripped my imagination and I decided to say yes,” says Sumanth.
The actor, meanwhile, is enacting his grandfather ANR’s role in the biopic on NTR where he has acted with Balakrishna who plays the titular role of the popular mass leader. “It’s a great opportunity for me and I feel that it is my responsible to play the role. All my family members felt that I closely resemble my grandfather,” says Sumanth.
The actor is all praise for actor Balakrishna. “He is an encyclopedia and he can render all the dialogues from all his films. It’s a great opportunity for me to act with him,” Sumanth shares.
