Young actor Nikhil Siddharth’s film is now titled Arjun Suravaram. Earlier, the movie’s title was Mudra, but the filmmakers felt it didn’t draw any attention, so they changed it. Also, another film by the same name was released recently and it didn’t fare well on box-office. The filmmakers didn’t want the audience to be confused with two films having the same title. Worse still, if they mistook one film for the other.
Nikhil plays a journalist in the film and the storyline is based on a Tamil film. T.N. Santosh, who directed the Tamil version, is directing the Telugu film as well and the production is almost done. The makers are eyeing a March release.
Lavanya Tripathi will be playing the female lead, while Rajkumar Akella and Kaviya Venugopal are producing it. Popular producer Tagore Madhu is presenting the film.
