Jagapathi Babu, who started his second innings with a negative role in Legend, has been busy since. His performance in Nannaku Prematho was also widely appreciated and he has been getting quite a few offers from Tamil filmmakers for negative characters. The actor has also signed two films.
According to a source, Jagapathi is playing the main villain in a film opposite Vijay, and the other one is opposite Vishal. “After seeing his performance in Nannaku Prematho the makers approached him for Vijay’s film. This is a big project for Jagapathi Babu in Tamil,” says the source. Bharatan is the director.
In Tollywood, too, the actor is busy with multiple projects. “This is going to be the best phase of Jagapathi Babu’s career. After playing many negative characters, the actor is now showing an interest in doing a lead role and is looking for options,” added the source.
