Vijay Sethupathi demands Rs 30 cr for RC 16?
Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi has reportedly demanded Rs 30 crores to play a negative role in reigning star Ram Charan’s next film with director Buchi Babu Sana. “The director wanted Vijay Sethupathi at all costs since he is perfect for this well-etched role. Negotiations are underway and things will be fixed very soon,” says a source.
He further adds, “Already, Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar has disclosed that he would be playing a key role in the film since Mythri Movie Makers are determined to dish out a magnum opus and aren’t sparing anything in terms of casting and crew. Besides Buchi Babu has a soft corner for Vijay Sethupathi since they earlier worked in ‘Uppena,” he adds
Meanwhile, Ram Charan is planning to commence the shooting of this film in two more months. "In all probability, Ram Charan will be joining the sets of his upcoming film from April and he will be allocating bulk dates for this sports-centric drama," adds the source who claims that Shankar would wrap up his work for 'Game Changer' by January-end.
Director Buchi Babu, who has been eagerly waiting for Charan, has completed the script and pre-production work for the much-awaited film. The casting options are being finalized, but uncertainties about Charan’s availability and schedules have hindered its progress. "Now, Buchi is doing all the necessary work and has already received two songs from maestro A R Rahman and he is raring to go," he concludes.
