It looks like actor-director Rishab Shetty might make his Telugu debut soon. The buzz is that the director who received wide acclaim with last year’s Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party, is set to make a Telugu-Kannada bilingual next.
“Rishab has a gangster drama in mind. He is keen to test new waters as he feels the Telugu audience will like his kind of cinema. It is to be seen now how things work out. Actor Nirup Bhandari, who starred in the film Rangi Taranga, that was even shortlisted for the Oscars’ foreign language category of films, will star in the film,” reveals a source.
