Young director Buchi Babu Sana, who rose to fame with a gripping love story ‘Uppena’ has been a big fan of music wizard A R Rahman and used to listen to his chartbusters for many years. “A R Rahmah has been his favourite composer and he admired his enchanting compositions for many years and finally his dream came true,” says a source and adds, “When Buchi Babu met A R Rahman to narrate the script of his upcoming film with Ram Charan in Mumbai, few months ago, he was on cloud nine. He couldn’t believe his eyes as he was sitting before his favourite composer and he managed to narrate the script by suppressing his excitement,” he adds.
He spent a couple of days with a music wizard and got to interact with him and finally managed to get two tunes from the Oscar-winning composer. "Usually, A R Rahman takes some time to belt out tunes. But this time, he has composed not one but two soulful numbers for Buchi Babu,’ adds the source who claims that Rahman was truly impressed with the gripping sports-centric drama narrated by Buchi Babu.
"He liked the story very much and also realized that there is scope for beautiful songs and breath-taking background score and already began his work as the film is set to go on floors in February next," he adds.
Actually, young director Buchi Babu scored a big musical hit film ‘Uppena’ with ace Telugu composer Devi Sri Prasad. The songs from the movie like "Nee Kallu Neeli Samudram’, ‘Sandram Lona Neerantha’ and ‘Dhak Dhak Dhak’ busted musical charts as they captured the mood and situations in this love saga elegantly.
