Ester Noronha turns singer
Actress Ester Noronha of Bheemavaram Bullodu fame is making her singing debut. Revealing that the song is for a Kannada film, the 24-year-old says, “I did a special song for Kannada film Atiratha directed by one of their top directors, Mahesh Babu.”
The talented actress made her acting debut in Telugu with Teja’s 1000 Abaddalu and is now busy with many projects in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. She will soon shoot for a female empowerment film with director Kranthi, who was earlier associated with director S.S. Rajamouli. “It’s a female-centric story that revolves around me. This is a different film as compared to regular formula films. Noel Sean is playing the other lead role in the film,” she reveals.
Another Kannada film that the young actress has signed will be directed by Prakash Raj Mehu. “That is a female-oriented film too. The director has earlier worked with Yogaraj Bhat,” says Ester.
The actress, who is in Vikarabad for the Telugu film’s shoot, mentions, “I did a musical tour to UK and France and then did shows in Goa. Since then I am in Vikarabad.”
Is Ester interested to sing in Telugu too? “Yes, if someone gives me an opportunity, I would love to. Because language is no barrier for an artiste and more than that, I am very fluent in Telugu. I have a lot of love for the language, culture, movies and people here. I would love to sing a peppy number for a good movie soon... If god is willing,” she says.
