Tollywood actress Krithi Shetty is doing a performance-centric role in her big-ticket untitled Tamil film with Kollywood star Karthi. “After a short break, Krithi is doing a role with substance and she is enjoying her author-backed role. She is showcasing varied emotions. She is shooting continuously in Chennai,” says a source. The much-hyped film is being directed by Nalam Kumara Swamy.
Earlier, she signed another Tamil movie with Jayam Ravi and it was titled ‘Genie’. “She is getting plum offers from Kollywood and likes to showcase her histrionic skills,” he adds.
Actually, Krithi arrived with a bang in Tollywood with the blockbuster ‘Uppena’ and proved that she could portray challenging roles. “She proved herself as a good actor with her debut film itself as she received appreciation for her rebellious lover girl role who takes on her ruthless father,” he adds.
Later, she was confined to dancing around scenes and a few romantic scenes with Telugu stars Ram Pothineni in ‘Warrior’ and Naga Chaitanya in “Custody’. “She will come back to Telugu with an interesting role," he concludes.
