Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has been the subject of considerable buzz since its announcement on the actor’s birthday. While Lyca Productions have kept the cast details under wraps, speculation had been mounting over who would be the female lead.
Names like Trisha and Tamannaah were mentioned. Now, a source close to the production has confirmed that Trisha will indeed take on the heroine’s role. This will be the fifth collaboration between Trisha and Ajith, after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhal (2015), all of which were hits.
While Anirudh composes the music, Nirav Shah will be the cameraman.
