Relieved N Shankar to focus on studio, movies
With the Telangana High Court on Friday dismissing a public interest litigation against the allotment of land to film director N. Shankar, paving way for him to build his TV and film studio. “Director is quite happy and heaving a sigh of relief,” says a source.
Actually, the director has made hard-hitting movies like 'Jeyam Manadera’, ‘Sri Ramulayya', 'Bhadrachalam' and ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ to carve a niche for himself in Tollywood. “He made his brand of movies and earned a lot of name and goodwill with his thought-provoking movies besides box office success,” points out the source.
He has worked with big stars like superstar Krishna, Mohan Babu, Venkatesh, Srihari and Nithin in his illustrious career. “With OTTs craze catching up, he has readied four to five scripts and is planning to tie up with a corporate house to dish out engaging web movies,” the source adds.
On the other hand, he will be completely focusing on building a state-of-the art studio in allotted 5 acres of land to cater to big and small screen makers. “He will put his heart and soul into developing a swanky studio to match up with existing ones,” he source concludes.
