Leading producer Dil Raju will be teaming up with ace director Boyapati Sreenu since they agreed to work together some time ago. They had a couple of meetings since Dil Raju wants to deliver a multilingual action film with a Tamil star, and discussions are underway. “Actually, Dil Raju sent Boyapati to meet a big Tamil star some time ago, and both the actor and director discussed doing an action film in multiple languages, and they struck a chord,” says a source.
Earlier, Dil Raju tasted massive success in the Tamil film industry with ‘Varisu’ and now looking to dish out more Tamil films since big stars are willing to work with him. “Even Tamil stars like Suriya and Karthi showed interest to work with Dil Raju as he shares a good rapport with them. Also, they know that Dil Raju will spend lavishly if required and promote the film aggressively by spending crores, so they would like to team up with such a big producer, who is now interested in Tamil films,” the source adds.
Overlooking the flop like ‘Skanda,’ Dil Raju would prefer to team up with Boyapati since he is good at dishing out slam-bang action films like ‘Legend’ and ‘Akhanda.’ “Dil Raju trusts Boyapati, and he could bankroll the Suriya-Boyapati flick after finding the right script,” the source concludes.
