Samantha gets emotional while talking about her health
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who put an end to widespread speculation about her health last week by tweeting that she had been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis, has, in her latest interview in connection with her upcoming film, Yashoda, said she has the fortitude to fight the disease.
Asked where she gets the strength to counter her current condition, she said that she’s a fighter. “Some days are good, some days are bad. Sometimes I can’t even put a foot forward. And sometimes, if I look back at the journey, I wonder how I came so far,” she said with moist eyes.
Clarifying that she’s not in a life-threatening stage of Myositis, Samantha said with a laugh, “I am not dying.” She added, “It is difficult, but I am here to fight it out! I just need a little more time.”
She also stressed that a lot of people are fighting many battles, and they would all come out victorious in the end.
Asked about her future plans, the actress said, “If there’s anything that this condition has taught me, it is that there’s nothing that’s in our control. Life has its way of figuring things out.”
Ever since the video of the interview was uploaded, fans and her colleagues have been wishing her more power to come back!
