Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty is currently in Austria, undergoing naturopathic treatment at a world-renowned medical centre that in recent years has become Bollywood’s go-to destination for weight-loss.
The actress had to pile on a few extra kilos for Size Zero and Baahubali, but she hasn’t been able to shed them ever since. Despite her best efforts to slim down in order to stand a chance to be paired opposite Prabhas in Saaho, she wasn’t able to make it into the action thriller. Now it’s been nearly two years since she’s signed a film, and it looks like she’s determined to lose weight.

Apparently, Anushka believes in losing weight through natural methods, and she’s even visited various health centres in the south over the past few years. Upon a friend’s advice, she has now enrolled in a naturopathic programme at a medical centre in Austria, hoping to come out looking slimmer.
A source reveals, “Anushka is currently in Austria undergoing naturopathic treatment. But it’s not just for weight-loss, it’s a complete detoxification programme that will rejuvenate her. Since it is a natural programme that promotes healthy living, she likes the idea and believes it will do her a world of good.”
Upon her return to India, Anushka is expected to make decisions regarding a couple of projects that have been pending for a while. “The best part of the programme is that it promises a flat tummy and radiant skin in under two weeks without intense dieting. That’s why celebs prefer it,” the source adds. Among the celebs who have visited the centre and enjoyed the benefits of its programmes are Parineeti Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor.
