Most people will still remember the embarrassment that megastar Chiranjeevi underwent after a video clip of his breaking a queue to vote in the 2014 elections went viral. The actor had directly walked into a booth and the video had shown someone standing in queue to vote object to the unthinking act by the star.
Celebrities from Tollywood seemed to have learnt their lesson from seeing Chiranjeevi’s embarrassment and several of them, including Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Nagababu and Chiranjeevi himself queued up for their turn to vote at the polling booths on Friday. Not director K. Raghavendra Rao though.
The filmmaker faced the ire of citizens in the queue when he tried to directly walk into the both by ignoring others who were patiently waiting in queue to vote. The Om Namo Venkatesaya helmer beat a quick exit without voting when the crowd voiced their anger but came back later to cast his vote.
Sigh, some people never learn!
