Kabir Duhan Singh's next, a bilingual
It’s been two years since Kabir Duhan Singh debuted with the Gopichand-starrer Jil that brought him a great deal of recognition. The actor has since had 12 releases and has three films ready to hit the screens. Meanwhile, Kabir has signed two more projects. While a Tamil film with debutant director Soorajj S. Kurup is coming up, a new Telugu-Kannada bilingual project has him all excited. The film, to be directed by critically-acclaimed filmmaker Sunil Kumar Desai, will see him play an antagonist.
“Kabir is a familiar face to the audience in all the three film industries thanks to his interesting debuts, and collaborations with top actors. And that’s why the director felt he would be perfect for a bilingual. The film is a thriller, something Kabir hasn’t done so far, and that’s why the actor was kicked about it and said yes immediately,” reveals a source in the know.
Meanwhile, Kabir’s Tamil film, a tribute to star actor Ajith, Thala Pola Varuma, sees him playing an antagonist too. Our source tells us that Kabir is in talks for key roles in a couple of upcoming Telugu films, and if things work out, an announcement will be made soon.
