Another setback for 'Aaradugula Bullet' actor Gopichand
Actor Gopichand’s film Aaradugula Bullet was supposed to hit the screens on Friday (June 9), but didn’t get a release. It’s a big blow to the actor, who was promoting the film from the last couple of weeks.
A financier, Sahadev reportedly went legally against the film’s producer for not repaying his money. “Sahadev financed nearly Rs 6cr for the action entertainer and wanted it back before the release. Since the producer failed to pay, he went legally,” says a source.
Interestingly, the film had started long ago, but stopped mid-way because of a financial mess. Thandra Ramesh, the original producer, had roped in Gopichand and Nayanthara to make a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. The film resumed its shooting after a couple of financiers stepped in to bail it out. But now comes the news that the release has been stalled indefinitely.
