Ghantasala's son Ratna Kumar succumbs to a cardiac arrest on Thursday

Ghantasala Ratna Kumar, one of the sons of the late legendary singer–composer Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, passed away due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai on Thursday.
Ratna Kumar, who’d recovered from COVID-19 recently, had been suffering from kidney-related ailments and was on dialysis. Ratna Kumar excelled in dubbing, and in his 35-year career, he’d dubbed for over 1,000 films across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. He’d even won several awards, including Nandi Award, and lent his voice for several documentaries and soap operas in Telugu and Tamil.
