Actress Surbhi Puranik has been quiet about her follow-up film since she did Okka Kshanam. However, we have learnt recently that the actress has signed her next project, in which she plays the female lead.
In the upcoming film, which is to be directed by debutant director Swaraj, Surbhi will be paired opposite Karthik Raju. The actress, who is known to never shy away from experimental roles, is believed to have signed the film because of her role in and the film’s theme.
“Surbhi has never been the kind to play it safe when it comes to choosing roles. Her approach to acting is absolutely clinical; she was very inquisitive and wants to know the nuances of filmmaking. It’s this attitude of her that has made the director bring her on board,” informs a source close to the development.
