Talented director Bommarilu Bhaskar who has launched his next film with young sensation Sidhu Jonnalagada today, is surely back in the business.
He is connecting with new generation actors which is going to keep his career alive and kicking. His last release ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ with Akhil Akkineni was a decent hit and helped him to bounce back into the reckoning.
The director is adept in dishing out youthful love stories and family dramas and delivered big hits like ‘Bommarillu’ and “Parugu’. But his coming of age love story ‘Orange’ with Ram Charan and Genelia bombed at the box office, despite having a decent enough plot.
Even his action film ‘Ongole Githa’ tanked at the box office and showed that action movies aren’t his cup of tea. He took a break and returned with “Most Eligible Bachelor’ and proved that he is still capable of delivering breezy romantic dramas and struck a chord with new generation viewers as well.
With most Telugu directors churning out gory and crude action films, we need directors like Bommarillu Bhaskar who deliver grounded and relatable stories to the younger generation.
