Balayya okays young director\'s script
Balakrishna is an actor to reckon with in the film industry. Known for portraying roles in experimental and mythological movies with elan, Balayya, as he is popularly called, also gives opportunity to new directors.
At present, Balakrishna is busy doing a film with director Gopichand Malineni, after his previous film, Akhanda, became a blockbuster hit both in and outside India. The film is titled Veerasimha Reddy and the shooting is on at a brisk pace.
According to sources, NBK, who is busy with back-to-back films, had okayed a story presented by a small director. There is talk that the C/o Kancharapalem director Venkatesh Maha had narrated the script to NBK and that the senior actor was impressed with the psychological thriller.
If all goes well, the film is likely to be bankrolled by Geetha Arts. After completing Veerasimha Reddy, NBK is scheduled to act in another film by director Anil Ravipudi.
