Balayya dubs in Hindi for the first time
Seasoned star Balakrishna claimed that he has dubbed for himself in Hindi for the first time in his career since his latest hit film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ is slated to be released in Hindi very soon. “I dubbed for my role in Hindi and it was for the first time. However, you will understand my command over the Hindi language after watching the Hindi film,” he said and claimed that he and his father and legendary NTR love to do new things.
“We love to experiment and like to do new things," added the actor at the success meet of ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’. Justifying his age-appropriate role, he explained, "Normally, I wouldn’t have accepted such roles, but when I found a strong message about girl child in the story, I agreed to do it because I love taking up new challenges.”
Surely, he has another challenge ahead as he has to draw in reluctant Hindi film viewers since it has become difficult to impress North Indian viewers these days. "He has a tough challenge ahead as 'Bhagavanth Kesari’ is hitting theatres across North India. Hindi film viewers are reluctant to watch routine action films but since the film has a message, we have to wait and see.
Nonetheless, producers have to go all out and promote the film in Mumbai to gain their attention; otherwise, it would be tough to even draw minimum openings,” says the Hindi distributor. He further adds, “Bollywood stars like Sunny Deol, SRK, and Akshay Kumar are back in business and doing action films. Telugu stars like Ravi Teja, Vishwak Sen, and Sai Dharam Tej couldn't grab the eyeballs of Hindi viewers, so Balakrishna has a task to accomplish," he concludes.
