'Excited and nervous': Kajal Aggarwal on working with mentor for second time

Actress Kajal debuted a decade ago with director Teja’s Lakshmi Kalyanam. And just as she completes the milestone, it seems like a matter of coincidence, that she’s now working with him for the second time in her career in the upcoming political drama Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Apparently being around mentor Teja is a mix of emotions for Kajal, who co-stars with Rana Daggubati in the film.

“I have done so many films but the vibes are different now. Maybe, because I am working with my mentor again. I am nervous and at the same time, excited,” she shares. Talking about her role in the film, she says, “She’s a very strong woman, mentally, who knows what she wants. I am proud of this role. Lately, I have been trying to choose characters that challenge me, and this is surely one such role.”
