Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa heads to Georgia

Intense war sequences for Chiranjeevi's film will be shot in a 40-day overseas schedule.

After completing a couple of schedules in India, the unit of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Sye Raa is now heading to Georgia. Director Surender Reddy, who’s going all-out to make sure the film impresses the audience, plans to shoot some intense war sequences in the European nation.

“It is a 40-day schedule. The unit will film war sequences of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy fighting the British,” a source reveals.

Reportedly, the recce for locations has already been completed, and around 200 members of the film’s cast and crew are flying to Georgia. The budget for the schedule is believed to be Rs 50 crore. “The makers want the film to be shot on a grand scale. They have been shooting at locations that haven’t been seen before. Nearly Rs 5 crore was spent on the war sequences shot in the last schedule, in Hyderabad. And this time, a budget of Rs 50 crore has been allocated,” the source adds.
