Director Koratala Siva was all set to start shooting for Acharya from Monday, but with Chiranjeevi testing positive for the Novel Coronavirus, the film’s schedule has been pushed back.
The makers were planning to release the movie next year summer, but the latest development has caught everyone off guard.
It’s going to be difficult days ahead for the director. “Now, all the schedules have to change and Chiranjeevi may participate only after a month. Because of this, Ram Charan too has changed his schedules,” says a source. Ram Charan, who is playing an important role in Acharya, is shooting for another film, RRR.
But according to a source, Chiranjeevi has advised Koratala to shoot the scenes where he is not present.
Accordingly, “Siva may plan some scenes without Chiranjeevi,” the source added.
