Kajal Aggarwal in demand for female-centric scripts?
Even before the release of her maiden female-centric film ‘Satyabhama’, glam diva Kajal Aggarwal is in demand for author-backed roles. “She has to just give her nod and there would be four to five films on floors," says a source, who claims that such offers have come as a big surprise in the industry. “Kajal has never done a lady-oriented film to date but there are seven to eight young directors and producers who are willing to bet money on her,” he adds.
However, the ‘Magadheera’ star is not in a hurry and biding her time before even listening to the scripts. “She is taking her own sweet time to even listen to the story narration of the directors. Probably, she is weighing her options before plunging deep into female-oriented movies. Maybe, she wants to romance a few big heroes on screen before taking the women-driven track,” he points out.
Actually, Kajal worked her way up in Tollywood by sharing screen space with big stars like Pawan Kalyan(Sardar Gabbar Singh), Mahesh Babu(Businessman), Allu Arjun (Arya 2), Ram Charan(Magadheera) and Rana Daggubati in ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’. “She was last seen with Balakrishna in ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ and is under discussions for a couple of projects,” he adds.
Already, Anushka has turned flag-bearer of women-centric movies with hits like ‘Arundhati’ and ‘Bhagmathie’, followed by Anjali (Geetanjali), Keerthy Suresh (Mahanati) and Rashmika (Rainbow), so Kajal can also explore author-backed roles to keep her popularity and craze intact.
