It looks like director Prashanth Varma has hit a jackpot, thanks to the acclaim his directorial debut Awe received. It’s been learnt that the youngster may next direct Nani, the producer of Prashant’s first film.
“Prashant and Nani had discussed a script earlier but decided to work on it after the release of Awe. The script will be something out of the box and Nani is quite keen to work on it after the positive response Awe has received,” shares a source.
However, Nani will not bankroll the project, and the duo is likely to associate with a well-known producer for the film. Meanwhile, the teaser of Nani’s forthcoming film Krishnarjuna Yuddham is generating good buzz. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film features Anupama Parameswaran and Rukshar Mir as the female leads.
