A comic thriller
Actor Sivaji Raja’s son, Vijay Raja, is all set to make his acting debut with the forthcoming film, Edaina Jaragochu. Tipped to be a comic thriller, the film, which also features Pooja Solanki and National award-winning actor Bobby Simha, has been directed by the debutant director K. Ramakanth.
“I’m glad that the recently released poster of the film looks promising,” says Vijay. “Edaina Jaragochu expounds heights of stupidity and the extremes that one can resort to in order to make things ridiculous. I intentionally wanted to debut in a film that is modern and concept driven,” he explained. About his role and plotline, the actor shares, “I play a guy who works in part-time jobs. In one of my jobs as a bank recovery agent, I end up falling in love with a girl (played by Pooja Solanki). My friends and I do some crazy things in the process, and what ensues is a comedy of errors.
There is a suspense element to the story as well.” Describing the film’s director Ramakanth as a passionate filmmaker, Vijay said, “He works like a seasoned director and his attention to detail is very inspiring. Sameer Reddy garu’s cinematography has accentuated the film’s visual appeal. I would also like to thank the producer Sudarshan Hanagodu for investing his faith in us.”
