Actress Aishwarya Rajesh, who has been seen in leading lady characters of late, will now be seen in a supporting role. Apparently, the actress has agreed to play the protagonist Sivakarthikeyan’s sister in his forthcoming drama.
We have learnt that Aishwarya was quite impressed with director Pandiraj’s style of narration and character execution. Further, she found her portrayal in the film fairly substantial and authentic, so the fact that it was a supporting role never came in the way of her decision.
“Aishwarya is constantly looking for roles that push her boundaries as an actor, which is primarily why she took up the part. Anu Emmanuel has been roped in to play the film’s leading lady. The shooting is expected to commence soon,” said a source in the know.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya has several other projects lined up including the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer, Kowsalya Krishnamurthy and Mis(s)match.
