At last, Venkatesh’s next film helmed by Teja has a female lead! Although many names were doing the rounds for the female protagonist, the makers have finally decided to rope in Shriya Saran.
It is also believed that initially Aditi Rao Hydari was supposed take up the role, however, she couldn’t come on board owing to dates.
“They decided to go for an experienced actress for the role, and finally zeroed in on Shriya Saran. Moreover, Venky and Shriya have acted in a few films together and their chemistry will work for sure,” says a source from the unit. The film may go on floors soon with the makers planning to finish at least one schedule before director Teja moves on to directing NTR’s biopic.
Anil Sunkara and Suresh Babu are jointly producing this film.
