If Nagarjuna gave his vocals a challenge by singing only for the second time ever in Nirmala Convent, Venkatesh has done the most unexpected thing ever as he decided to croon for his upcoming film Guru.
The film's recently released teaser featured the song and the response online was quite interesting with a lot of people seemingly being taken aback.
“That was the intention — to surprise the audiences. Venkatesh has been apprehensive about singing for a very long time and that's the reason he’s never attempted it. But this time around, the director and composer managed to convince him,” shares a source in the know.
A remake of Saala Khadoos, the film is directed by Sudha Kongara and is set to release in January. Rithika Singh plays the female lead.
